Nick holds multiple inspector licenses, and is also licensed as a plans examiner and florida building code administrator through the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Because of his strong, expert credentials, Nick was appointed by Governor Jeb Bush to the Florida Building Code Administrators and Inspectors Board in 2005. He was reappointed in 2009 by Governor Charlie Crist. He is certified as a building official (C.B.O.) by the International Code Council.
